Pointe de la Parata, Corse, 22 août 2014 Only a few words and so many eloquent images on Vies à vies. Their Facebook page states it's a "photographic series started in 2008, built by two photographers as life goes along". The name "Vies à vies" means "Life to life" (as in "one life against an other") but it's also a pun on the expression "vis-à-vis" meaning "overlerlooking" in French. As you scroll through their blog, you see the lives of this couple from each others angle, literally, and the two pictures are always assembled one next to the other. I really like their images, and on top of it, the whole background being so smart only adds up to my liking.

I always love to see a behind-the-scenes of a random object almost anyone has encountered. And this is how Crayola Crayon is made.

In a much more superficial record, these are coveted items for the new season.

Scrubby Bay is probably the ultimate luxury vacation rental New Zealand has to offer. Nested in a valley between two cliffs, the location is simply incredible and the farm-inspired barn-like architecture fits gorgeously in the landscape.

Swedish Designer Stian Korntved Ruud has been designing a wooden a day for a whole year. He decided to challenge himself in a 365 days project. When last interviewed he had carved 135 spoons. He is looking for a gallery to showcase his experiment and hopes to make a book about it all.

Made an amazing discovery bearing the name of Patternity, a studio solely dedicated to patterns, let me quote   ‘BECAUSE A SHARED AWARENESS OF PATTERN HAS THE POWER TO POSITIVELY SHAPE OUR WORLD’, couldn't agree more.

Hello Internet friends !
The weather is rather nice, sunny and warm these days in Paris, but there's an autumn feeling in the air, hence the camo colorway for this new pattern.
I have had a bit of free time recently and started sewing again. I'm thinking of printing some of my patterns on material ... Is there actually an interest for that ?
